Ignite Artist in Schools Residency

Here's the story of my year long Artist in schools residency with Yorkshire Sculpture Park. From October 2012 to July 2013 I will be working with young people in schools across the Wakefield District making puppets, inventing stories and making special gifts to share.

The Ignite Artist in Schools programme is an annual bursary scheme for artists developing their career to work with children of all ages and abilities including those with learning and /or emotional difficulties. The residencies promote learning outside the classroom, giving schools the opportunity to work with a different artist each year.
